Krausz grew up in Vienna. At the age of ten he began his musical education on the cello, since 1975 he studied electric bass. In the same year his daughter Esther was born, followed in 1976 by his second daughter Daniela. In 1980 he graduated. In 1982 he began with arrangement and production, later with composition. So far Mischa Krausz played as a studio musician on about 60 sound carriers.
Mischa Krausz schrieb und produzierte den österreichischen Beitrag zum Eurovision Song Contest 1995. Sung by Stella Jones „The world turns wrong“ reached the 13th place. The following year, George Nussbaumer started with the Krausz composition „Weil’s dr guat got“ at the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo and took the 10th Place. In addition, Krausz wrote songs for Maria Bill, Jose Carreras, Peter Cornelius, Georg Danzer, Defunkt, Hansi Dujmic, Jose Feliciano, Rainhard Fendrich, Alexander Goebel, André Heller, Ludwig Hirsch, Christian Kolonovits, Kottan’s Kapelle, Gary Lux, Sigi Maron, Franz Morak, Carl Peyer, Erika Pluhar, Etta Scollo, Gert Steinbäcker, S.T.S., Stefanie Werger, Wilfried and Ina Wolf.
